About
EuroGymnastics Rhythmic Academy offers rhythmic gymnastics training programs for girls, including kids gymnastics and gymnastics for beginners. The program includes activities such as Aesthetic Group Gymnastics (AGG), dance, stretching, flexibility, and ribbon gymnastics. Aesthetic Group Gymnastics is offered as a brand new class starting April 2023.

EuroGymnastics Rhythmic Academy was founded in 2004 by co-founders and head coaches B.B. Ignatova and Ivanka Kirov. The program is built on the foundation of the Bulgarian school of thought, the strengths of the Russian system, and principles of ethical behavior and morals in sport. Its mission statement describes a focus on gradually building and nurturing athletes, developing a strong love for the sport, teaching discipline and respect toward coaches, parents, teammates, and themselves, encouraging teamwork, having a vision and clear goals, providing a training program to bring the athlete to the ceiling of her natural talent and abilities, creating well-rounded individuals and future leaders in sport and everyday life, and the idea that winning is not everything but making the effort to win is.
B.B. Ignatova and Ivanka Kirov both hold Masters degrees in Physical Education and Coaching Science. B.B. Ignatova was certified as a Brevet Judge in 1989 and currently holds a Brevet II category, and Ivanka Kirov is certified as a Brevet Judge. Lena Savich serves as a certified flexibility and strength instructor and has completed programs including Yoga, Floor Pilates, and Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT). To enroll into classes, new athletes must fill out the registration form and return it prior to the first class.
EuroGymnastics Rhythmic Academy is home to National, Regional, and State Champions. The EuroGymnastics Aesthetic Group Gymnastics team is the USA National Team for the third year in a row and has won bronze medals at the Tuah Cup, the Autumn Challenge Cup, and is listed as bronze medalists from Autumn Challenge Cup 2024. The AGG Category 10–12 team are 2024 National Champions. Bochin Tong was named USA Senior National Champion and 2023 Silver All Around Medalist at the USA National Championships in the Level 10 Senior Category, and also won the 2006 category and all the age categories at one event, becoming the grand champion and winning the Ball and Ribbon events with gold medals. EuroGymnastics Aesthetic Group Gymnastics team members were finalists at the Hong Kong World Cup, and AGG made it to the finals at the International Tournament in Graz and at the World Championships. B.B. Ignatova judged in the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, received an award from Her Majesty, the Princess of Thailand, for volunteer fundraising work for the “Children’s Cardiac Society” in Bangkok, Thailand, received the “Coach of the Year” award from Thairat, the largest newspaper in Thailand, and a special reward from the Gymnastics Association of Thailand for contributions to the development of the sport in Thailand. EuroGymnastics serves families from Anaheim, Brea, Newport Beach, Costa Mesa, Fullerton, Irvine, Tustin, Yorba Linda, Garden Grove, Huntington Beach, Diamond Bar, and all of Orange County, California.
