About
Summer Film Camp focuses on writing, directing, acting for the camera, cinematography, editing, and production. Participants draft treatments, format screenplays, draw storyboards, plan camera blocking, and work on character development. They also explore shot composition, camera movement, and framing, then edit and add effects, graphics, and titles using Adobe Premiere as they take their scripts from the initial storyboard to the final cut.
• Ages: 9–15 years old
• Schedule: Week-long day camp, 8:00 am to 3:30 pm

Summer Film Camp is presented by Theatrical Education Group, which has been an innovator of original educational services for theatre since 2004. Theatrical Education Group is committed to theatrical education that is informative, engaging, accessible, and affordable, and is dedicated to providing dramatic instructional programs and services through field trips, summer camps, classes, workshops, and online educational services. La Cañada High School, where the camp’s studios are based, has been named both a California Distinguished School and a National Blue Ribbon School.

She had the most fun she’s ever had at a camp with you guys.
