First School of the Desert La Quinta

First School of the Desert – La Quinta offers a developmentally appropriate curriculum with individual classes for each separate age group. Children are taught and cared for in their own classrooms and peer groups, and each class follows a curriculum geared to that specific age group. The program is designed to give children a solid academic foundation with a balance of academic and social instruction, using a successful and exciting approach to preschool education.

• Ages: 1–6 years old
• Schedule: Full-day care up to 11.5 hours, with options for two, three, or five fixed full days per week
• Price: The rate structure varies according to the number of days per week that a child attends.

First School of the Desert, La Quinta was built in 2001. The campus stands on an acre and a half of land and holds preschool equipment and supplies. The La Quinta facility accommodates part weekly as well as full-time schedules, and all schedules are subject to availability at the time of the schedule request. All staff members are certified in Pediatric C.P.R. and in California Childcare Preventive Health and Safety. First School of the Desert states that it strives to promote the advancement of young children through dedication to the welfare and education of preschool students, with a mission focused on creating a learning environment of fun and happiness through professional teamwork.
