About the provider
The league says it is run 100% by volunteers, including 25 board members, 50 managers, 100 coaches, and more than 700 families doing volunteer jobs. It also says sponsors provide financial support, and it partners with the City of Lafayette and the Lafayette School District to maintain and care for baseball fields throughout the community.
The page says each family must sign up for one volunteer responsibility to avoid an additional $400 volunteer fee. For Instructional and Farm divisions, the league will do its best to accommodate one teammate request. For upper divisions (AA, AAA, and Majors), teams are formed via a draft process.
