St. Perpetua CYO Athletics

St. Perpetua CYO Athletics offers basketball, track and field, and volleyball. St. Perpetua basketball is part of the Diablo Valley League. Player evaluations are scheduled for September 14 and September 21, and all registered players are required to provide proof of eligibility during their Player Evaluation Session.

To be eligible to participate in St. Perpetua CYO, a player must meet at least one of three requirements: reside or plan to reside within the St. Perpetua Parish boundaries at the start of the school year, attend St. Perpetua School during the current school year, or have attended St. Perpetua Faith Formation during the previous school year. St. Perpetua Catholic Youth Organization is an inclusive organization supporting the St. Perpetua parish community in Lafayette. Its mission states that it provides opportunities for young people to develop strong moral character, self-esteem, and leadership qualities through social, educational, recreational, and athletic activities, and that principles of fair play and sportsmanship govern every game. The mission also states that all participants should have a healthy respect for teammates, opponents, coaches, and officials, and that patience and tolerance are encouraged among coaches and parents when developing the athletic skills of young players.
