The ARTroom

The ARTroom offers TK Art Exploration, Youth Art Studio, Drawing, Painting, Clay, Animals of Autumn, Create with Clay, Parent & Child - Art of the Ages!, Parent & Child - Clay Play, Kids Wheel, Embroidery Club, Kids Drawing & Painting, Teen Art Studio, and Teen Wheel. Activities include drawing, painting, collage, clay, ceramics on the wheel, embroidery, and clay handbuilding, with some classes focused on animals, perspective, shading, and color theory.

Programs

• TK Art Exploration — Ages 4-5 · Thursdays 3:30-4:30pm
• Youth Art Studio — Ages 5-8 · Mondays 3:30-5:00pm · 7 week session. A class filled with a variety of mediums and projects including drawing, painting, collage, clay, and more. Students can repeat the class.
• Drawing, Painting, Clay — Ages 5-8 · Tuesdays 3:30-5:00pm · 7 week session. Each class starts by drawing to strengthen drawing fundamentals, then painting with a variety of materials, with clay introduced in the last weeks.
• Animals of Autumn — Ages 5-8 · Wednesdays 3:30-5:00pm · 7 week session. Students create work exploring animals such as bears, foxes, groundhogs, squirrels, and more.
• Create with Clay — Ages 5-8 · Fridays 3:30-4:30pm · 7 week session. An introduction to ceramics class with pinch pots, coils, slabs, and a variety of clay techniques. Students can repeat the class.
• Parent & Child - Art of the Ages! — Ages 5+ · Saturdays 10:00-11:30am
• Parent & Child - Clay Play — Ages 5+ · Saturdays 12:00-1:30pm · 6 week session. Fun clay handbuilding class with projects that vary each week and expose students to new techniques and tricks. At least 1 parent must be registered alongside child(ren).
• Kids Wheel — Ages 9-12 · Mondays 3:30-5:30pm; Wednesdays 3:30-5:30pm; Thursdays 3:30-5:30pm · 7 week session. Ceramics on the wheel making plates, bowls, mugs, and more. Geared towards beginners but no experience is required. First class must be attended for new students.
• Embroidery Club — Ages 8-12 · Tuesdays 3:30-5:30pm · 7 week session. Students learn to embroider with basic supplies provided. Any experience level is welcome.
• Kids Drawing & Painting — Ages 8-12 · Wednesdays 3:30-5:00pm · 7 week session. Skill-building class covering perspective, shading, color theory, and more.
• Teen Art Studio — Ages 12-17 · Thursdays 4:00-6:00pm · 7 week session. Students work with their choice of material to create art representative of their skills and interests, such as drawing, painting, or clay.
• Teen Wheel — Ages 13-17 · Tuesdays 4:00-6:00pm · 7 week session. Ceramics on the wheel for teens; students with no experience are welcome. First class must be attended for new students.
