Gan Ilan Preschool

Gan Ilan Preschool includes activities such as children’s yoga, music, gardening, and recycling. The program also offers specialized learning about Judaism, including exposure to Hebrew through prayers, songs, peers and teachers who speak Hebrew, and children’s books available in Hebrew. Children participate in a faith-based, play-based, child-centered curriculum that is intertwined with Jewish customs and values, with lower than average ratios of teachers to students and participation in a multimedia music program called Cousins Like Us through a partnership with Music by Heart.

Established in 1999, Gan Ilan Preschool is part of Gan Ilan early childhood programs, which provide a holistic family experience integrating the child, family, school, and Temple Isaiah community. Gan Ilan is open to the entire community and offers an integrated family experience that connects each child, their family, the school, and the larger Isaiah community. Students are supported by fully qualified teachers, and the leadership team includes Courtney Ludlow, Director of Early Childhood Education; Vera Gordon, ECE Administrative Coordinator; and Bridget Wellerstein, Director of Student Services.
