Joyful Beginnings Preschool & JB Kids After-School

Joyful Beginnings Preschool & JB Kids After-School offers a preschool program where children learn in a play-based environment with child-initiated, teacher-supported play as an essential part of the classroom. The program includes outdoor time, with children enjoying more time outside each day. It also offers new after-school classrooms for children in transitional kindergarten through 5th grade.

• Ages: 2–11 years old
• Schedule: Preschool hours 8:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m.; after-school hours 11:45 a.m.–5:30 p.m.

Joyful Beginnings Preschool & JB Kids After-School is staffed with trained and caring teachers and led by Center Director Carol Carter, MS. The program is based on current and effective educational practices and is licensed as CCL Facility 073408890. It is dedicated to providing a loving, safe, and nurturing environment and believes that children come with the ability and desire to learn and grow. The school encourages meaningful relationships between family, church, and community through everyday activities, embraces all families, all faiths, and home languages, and welcomes the opportunity to learn about each child’s culture. The preschool program is designed to challenge physical, social, emotional, and cognitive areas of development, with children’s play described as a primary vehicle for and indicator of their growth. The program is now accepting applications for children ages 2–4 years old.
