Andrea's Musical Adventures

Andrea's Musical Adventures offers classes with singing, dancing, playing instruments, interactive storytelling, piano instruction, acting games, dress up, making snacks for a tea party, crafting costumes and props, yoga and dance movement, and a custom-designed musical swim program. Some classes include a loved one or caregiver, and one semi-private piano class uses two teachers and weekly one-at-a-time piano instruction.

Programs

• Let's Make Music — 18 months-3.5 years · Tuesdays · Children, along with a loved one, sing, dance, use props, play instruments, and participate in interactive storytelling.
• Mommy & Me Musical Babies — 6-18 months · Tuesdays · Babies and caregivers enjoy singing, dancing, instrument exploration, language skills, fine and large motor skills, space relationships, and bonding.
• Music, Piano and Me — 3.5-6 years · Children learn musical concepts and theory as it pertains to playing piano and beyond using games, activities, singing, and instrument play.
• Castle Tales Theatre — 3-7 years · Children sing songs, play acting games, dress up, make snacks for a tea party, and craft costumes and props together.
• Yoga Dance Storytime — 3-6 years · Stories are acted out using yoga and dance moves along with other movement games and activities.
• Rhythm Piano & Me — 5-7 years · Tuesdays · Semi-private group piano lesson with two teachers; children rotate onto the piano one at a time for private instruction every week.
• Sing & Swim — 6 months-3 years · Custom-designed musical swim program with melodical fun and games, safety drills, and activities that help promote developmentally appropriate swim skills.

About the provider

Andrea Gaspari is the founder of Andrea's Musical Adventures. Andrea has written curriculum for children ages 6 months through 7 years, and her teaching experience spans over 30 years. She is a professional singer and has been through the licensing programs for both Kindermusik and Musikgarten. The page says she is a three-time Bay Area Parent Award winner and has won national awards for her children's CDs. She is also listed as a Bachelors of Social Work (BSW), Professional Certified Life Coach, Certified Aroma Touch Therapist, Essential Oil Specialist, and Second Degree Reiki Practitioner. Andrea also teaches musical workshops for teachers for several organizations in the bay area.
