Lafayette Moraga Youth Association (LMYA) Sports offers sports programs for school age youth. The program includes year-round sports activities for participants.

Founded in 1954, LMYA Sports has provided year-round sports opportunities to school age youth in Lafayette and Moraga since 1954. Its mission statement is: “To build opportunities to school age youth in Lafayette and Moraga.” The organization is non-discriminatory and open to all school age youth, regardless of age, race, or skill level, and offers equal game time and position opportunity given equal player commitment. LMYA Sports manages team time commitment to allow players the opportunity for unstructured practice and/or participation in other activities, and it provides older youth work opportunities in which they serve as role models in leadership roles. It is described as the largest athletic organization in Lafayette and Moraga and partners with parents, residents, local sport teams and organizations, while also serving surrounding communities and building community through local games, inclusive events, and team camaraderie. One testimonial from an Acalanes High School student and varsity athlete states that LMYA taught the student to play multiple sports and what it means to be part of a team, and that the student always had fun with friends from different schools and loved the time playing for LMYA.
