Laguna Coast Volleyball Club offers LCVC Summer Volleyball Training for Girls 11–14, Girls & Boys Summer Beach Volleyball Camps, Club Lite Volleyball, the LCVC Girls Developmental Team, and a 2025/2026 Boys Club Team for U13, U14, and U15. The 2025/2026 Boys Club Team U13, U14, U15 practices at Thurston Middle School Gym.

• Schedule: Year-round options including winter–spring sessions from January to June and summer sessions from June to August
Laguna Coast Volleyball Club is a nonprofit dedicated to teaching girls and boys proper volleyball fundamentals in a positive and fun environment. LCVC Summer Volleyball Training for Girls 11–14 runs in two sessions from July 7 to August 13, meeting two days a week. Girls & Boys Summer Beach Volleyball Camps for ages 7–14 run in six sessions from June 22 to August 13, 2026, meeting four days a week. Club Lite Volleyball for girls and boys ages 7–14 runs in four sessions from January 7 to June 7, 2026, meeting two days a week. The LCVC Girls Developmental Team runs from January 7 to June 6, 2026, meeting on Wednesdays and Sundays.
LCVC coaches have experience at all levels of volleyball, both as coaches and players. The club’s founder and president, Leif Hanson, played volleyball at the University of Hawaii and later played professionally on the AVP beach tour, winning both AVP and FIVB events. Volleyball has a long history in Laguna Beach, and many Laguna Beach volleyball alumni, including 2-time Olympic medalist Dain Blanton, have lent their support and talents to the club’s creation. The mission of Laguna Coast Volleyball Club includes promoting personal development and character via competition and instilling many of the principles of legendary coach John Wooden, while giving participating youth the opportunity to excel in the sport. Dain Blanton, who has supported the club’s creation, is a 2-time Olympic medalist.
