Portal Languages Afterschool Language Classes offers after-school language classes and after-school language activities for children. The program includes interactive language activities, exploring different cultures, and kids group classes in a variety of languages. Students can also take part in online classes, private classes, group classes, conversational groups, and Spanish Conversation and Culture.

Portal Languages Afterschool Language Classes is part of a language school that offers instruction in Arabic, Armenian, Dutch, Mandarin, English, Farsi, French, German, Hawaiian, Hindi, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Spanish, Swahili, Swedish, Turkish, Vietnamese, Bulgarian, and American Sign Language. The program uses the Natural Approach to language learning, an innovative teaching method designed to mimic the way people naturally acquire their native language, and creates an immersive environment where students are encouraged to communicate from day one through meaningful conversations, engaging activities, and real-life situations. The after-school language programs are designed specifically for children, with a curriculum tailored to the unique needs and interests of young learners in a fun learning environment, and the school provides personalized attention and ongoing support.
The program is taught by highly skilled instructors who are native speakers. The language school has received accreditation to teach at charter schools. Portal Languages also offers Spanish Summer camp in Lake Forest and winter camps that combine traditional winter camp activities with language learning, with age-appropriate lessons that cater to all levels from beginners to those with some language proficiency. The school also offers corporate classes, seniors classes, and helps students prepare for the naturalization test.
