Little Explorers Preschool Center

Little Explorers Preschool Center offers infant care for children 6 weeks to 18 months and toddler and preschool programs for children 3 to 5 years old. The center provides full-time care from 6:00 AM to 5:30 PM and part-time care from 8:00 AM to 12:00 Noon, Monday through Friday. It serves breakfast at 8:30am, an AM snack at 10:30am, lunch at 12:30pm, a PM snack at 2:30pm, and dinner at 4:30pm, with vegetarian and vegan meal options.

About the provider

Ashley Alva is the owner of Little Explorers Preschool Center. She says she is a child development professional and has worked with children for over 14 years. She also ran her in-home daycare from 2008 to 2020. The center’s mission is to provide quality education, care, and a nurturing environment for students and staff by using culturally appropriate practices, and to provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. The center states that it encourages family traditions and includes them in its curriculum.

All new or returning children are subject to a 30 day probation period. Late pick up fee: $20 per 15 minutes. Tuition is due every Friday. Returned checks are assessed a $25 fee along with a late fee of $20. Childcare may be suspended until fees have been paid. Two weeks written notice of termination of enrollment is required. Tuition is the same if a child comes 0 days or 5 days in a week including holidays, sick days, and emergency closures.
