Portillo Violin Studio Group Lessons Program offers weekly group violin classes. Level 1 is an 8-week class for new beginners, and Level 2 classes are year-round. Classes are limited to 10 students, and classroom violins can be used during class time.

About the provider
Rebecca Portillo is the owner and full-time teacher. She has been playing the violin for almost 35 years and has over 25 years of music teaching experience. She also has a BA degree in music education from California State University Northridge.
Classes are limited to 10 students. No need to have a violin before starting. No pressure to take private lessons unless wanted. Charter school funds can be used by emailing the teacher with the child's name, age, desired class day/time, and the name of the charter school program.
