The Salvation Army Antelope Valley Youth Programs

The Salvation Army Antelope Valley Youth Programs offer after school programs that include homework assistance, counseling, one-on-one teaching assistance, study guidance, and literacy advancement. The program also includes sports, clubs, and other extracurricular activities, along with dance, art, and music programs such as choirs, instrument training, poetry, painting, drama, and other after-school lessons and activities.

• Ages: 5–17 years old
• Schedule: Office and Access Center hours available Monday–Friday during daytime hours, with a midday lunch closure

The Salvation Army Antelope Valley Youth Programs are part of The Salvation Army Antelope Valley Corps and are led by Ministry Leader Bonifacio Andres. The Salvation Army offers no-fee and low cost after-school programs and states that its programs go beyond the basics of food, shelter, clothing, and safety. The Salvation Army reports operating more than 400 after school programs in low and moderate income neighborhoods across the United States. The Salvation Army states that it opens its doors to anyone in need and does not discriminate based on gender, ethnicity, or socioeconomic level.
