Victorum Athletics & Brazilian Jiu Jitsu offers kids Brazilian Jiu Jitsu classes that include self defense techniques, stand up techniques, and training in ground positions and submissions. The program also includes adult Brazilian Jiu Jitsu classes, competition training for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and No-Gi Jiu Jitsu (No-Gi Submission Grappling), which is taught without the traditional Brazilian Jiu Jitsu uniform.

Victorum Athletics has been welcoming a diverse student body since its founding in 2017. In July of 2017, Frank Balcorta and his wife Lynda partnered with Ian Salinas and Richie Beigel to start Victorum Athletics, and by October of 2017 they secured their own facility. The leadership team consists of Frank Balcorta, his wife Lynda, Ian Salinas, and Richie Beigel. Frank Balcorta was a Pepperdine graduate student and is a veteran of both the Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom campaigns.
Victorum Athletics is committed to bettering the lives of its members through the gentle art of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and adheres to teaching principles of dialog and active participation to foster education and self-expression. The program states that it wants all of its students to develop their skill set further, push themselves to be the greatest they can be, and know that they are contributing to a cause greater than themselves. The school emphasizes maintaining a humble and peaceful environment and includes a competition team designed to develop members and cultivate confidence to compete from beginner to professional levels.
Victorum Athletics started as an MBA summer project designed to support and help veterans, active duty military personnel, and their families, and it is veteran owned and operated. It is a #Mission22 partner and offers free classes to veterans, active duty military, and their families to help fight and raise awareness of the veteran suicide rate in America. A portion of every member's dues is donated to #Mission22 as well as local organizations and foundations dedicated to the betterment of active duty and veteran lives.
