Caren Horstmeyer Girls Basketball Camp is created for girls entering 2nd–8th grade and is described as the all girls basketball camp of Marin. The camp offers beginner to advanced activities for all who attend and is described as a place where girls get skills and community support. It is designed and directed by Caren Horstmeyer, a PAC-10, West Coast Conference Hall of Fame Coach, and for the past few years many current Cal Bears players have joined the staff as coaches. The program states that it encourages the girls to be their best by having some of the best college players as examples and shares that it is back for its 20th year. The camp describes its mission as “Caren Horstmeyer Girls Basketball Camp - It's more than basketball... it's about life's lessons,” and notes two decades of supporting the girls of Marin County.
