• Schedule: One fantastic week a year; Camp 2026 will be June 15th–19th.

Caren Horstmeyer Girls Basketball Camp is created for girls entering 2nd–8th grade and is described as the all girls basketball camp of Marin. The camp offers beginner to advanced activities that are designed for all who attend and has all activities targeted to each camper’s specific skill level. The program states that this is where girls get skills and community support and that campers have fun and gain positive leadership skills that lead to success on and off the court.

The camp is designed and directed by Caren Horstmeyer, a PAC-10, West Coast Conference Hall of Fame Coach. For the past few years, many current Cal Bears players have joined the camp staff as coaches, and the camp notes that it encourages the girls to be their best by having some of the best college players as examples. The program describes itself as “Caren Horstmeyer Girls Basketball Camp - It's more than basketball... it's about life's lessons.” The camp is celebrating its 20th year and notes two decades of supporting the girls of Marin County and sharing with the community.
