Muay Thai for Kids at Boxing Works introduces children to Muay Thai, boxing, kickboxing, and self-defense. The program takes place in a facility that includes a boxing ring, long and short heavy bags, boxing and Muay Thai mitts and pads, and free weights. Some current Muay Thai champions, including Jackie Buntan and Nathan Ward, started in the kids class at Boxing Works.

• Schedule: Class options Monday–Saturday during morning and afternoon/evening hours
Boxing Works opened in 1993 and has nearly 30 years of experience. The gym has over 20 years of experience teaching kids of all levels of fitness and maturity in its Muay Thai for Kids program. Training in Muay Thai at Boxing Works has proven to boost self-confidence, teach respect, improve physical fitness, and set children on the road to being a champ. The program is described as a place to learn practical self-defense, make friends, have fun, and stay active in a safe, non-threatening environment.
Boxing Works is home to world champions, including Janet “JT” Todd, a ONE Atomweight Kickboxing World Champion. Boxing Works has produced more than a dozen of its own champions in boxing, Muay Thai, and MMA competitions, including recent championship-level fighters Janet Todd (ONE Championship), Jackie Buntan (ONE Championship), and Nathan Ward (Glory Kickboxing). It is described as a premier boxing, Muay Thai, and kickboxing facility in Southern California, a top training facility in the South Bay for boxing and Muay Thai striking skills, and a leading martial arts and boxing academy in Lawndale, CA.
