About
Livermore School of Karate offers Youth Karate classes, Adult Karate classes, Traditional Japanese Karate, and Competition Karate. Training is presented in a way that is both enjoyable and beneficial to young practitioners. The adult class focuses on improving physical fitness, flexibility, and overall coordination and provides an opportunity to have fun and make friends while participating in an enjoyable and fast paced sport.
• Ages: 9–18 years old for youth classes; adults 16+ for adult classes
• Schedule: Weekly classes on Thursdays, with sessions held once a week and starting the first Thursday of every month
• Price: Adult Karate Classes: Karate $63/month; Youth Karate Classes: Karate $63/month
Sensei John Crose is the owner and Chief Instructor of the Livermore School of Karate. Sensei Crose has been practicing Karate for 38 years and is a former member of the US National Karate Team. He has won numerous medals in many national and international Karate tournaments. He has trained several students who have won gold medals at AAU and USA National Karate Tournaments, including a student who won gold at the Junior World Championships in South Africa.
The Livermore School of Karate is dedicated to introducing karate practitioners to the sport of karate and teaching them how to use sport karate to learn self-discipline, self-control, and self-respect. It is dedicated to enhancing individual excellence through the sport of Traditional Japanese Karate. The program includes self-confidence through self-defense training, a focus on sport karate to learn self-discipline, self-control, and self-respect, and an opportunity to participate and compete in competition Karate. Youth and adult martial arts classes are offered monthly, and registration is taken by LARPD (www.LARPD.com/guide).
If a student has a Gi, the program allows them to wear it to class. If a student does not have a Gi, the program asks them to attend class in comfortable workout clothes, and eventually all students must have a Gi.
