Livermore School of Karate offers Karate classes that include Traditional Japanese Karate, Competition Karate, sport karate, and self-defense training. The program includes Youth Karate classes and Adult Karate classes that meet once a week on Thursdays. Classes include instruction in basic kicks, blocks, punches, footwork, and the basic fundamentals of traditional karate.

• Ages: 9–18 years old for youth classes; adults 16+ for adult classes
• Schedule: Weekly Thursday classes, with new sessions starting the first Thursday of every month
• Price: Youth and Adult Karate classes are $63 per month

Livermore School of Karate is led by Sensei John Crose, the owner and Chief Instructor. Sensei John Crose has been practicing Karate for 38 years and is a former member of the US National Karate Team. He has won numerous medals in many national and international Karate tournaments and has trained several students who have won gold medals at AAU and USA National Karate Tournaments, including a student who won gold at the Junior World Championships in South Africa. The Livermore School of Karate states that it is dedicated to enhancing individual excellence through the sport of Traditional Japanese Karate. Registration is taken by LARPD, and students register by visiting www.LARPD.com/guide and searching for Karate. If a student already has a Gi, the program states that the student may wear it to class; otherwise, students attend in comfortable workout clothes, and eventually all students must have a Gi.
