Sky Family Martial Arts

Sky Family Martial Arts offers Taekwondo and martial arts training. The program includes instruction in a variety of martial arts styles under internationally certified instructors.

Sky Martial Arts has been teaching Taekwondo in the Bay Area since 1992. The program operates under the leadership of Dr. Jun Yoon, a World Champion and 9th Dan Black Belt. All instructors are highly trained and certified under the Kukkiwon (World Taekwondo Headquarters) and are experienced in a variety of martial arts styles. The school states that its philosophy is to use Taekwondo as a tool for teaching character development and life skills through principles such as respect, discipline, humility, perseverance, self-control, and integrity, and that being a martial artist is viewed as a way of life that includes body, mind, and spirit.

Sky Family Martial Arts reports having over 1,000 students and five locations worldwide, including sites serving Livermore, Pleasanton, East Dublin, Dublin, Los Altos, Mumbai (India), and Chuncheon (South Korea). The program notes that it has produced 2 World Championship medalists, 12 US National Team Members, 18 US National Champions, and more than 20 California State Champions. It is described as suitable for all family members, with siblings and parents welcome, and offers a free trial class or free lesson.
