Little Saints Preschool is part of La Purísima Concepción Catholic School, which has served the community of Lompoc since 1957 under the leadership of Principal Mrs. Idaelia Preciado. The preschool is a faith-based program that uses Bible time with the Stories of God's Love curriculum and The Beginners Bible, along with a focus on the Fruits of the Spirit with a different fruit or attribute each month. The program uses the Frog Street Press preschool curriculum, which includes nine themes: Marvelous Me; My Family and Friends; Safe and Healthy Me; Color, Shape, and Size; Creative Me; On the Go; Amazing Critters; Habitats; and The World Around Me. Frog Street Press addresses nine developmental domains: Personal/Emotional, Language/Literacy, Interpersonal/Social, Cognitive, Creative, Mathematical, Science, Physical, and Social Studies, and every activity has a stated purpose that blends intentional instruction with play-based learning grounded in brain research.

Daily activities include a warm welcome routine that builds belonging and community, a Morning Message, interactive read-alouds, and hands-on daily math using visual manipulatives and physical activities. Children explore counting, patterns, shapes, and sorting, as well as animals, seasons, the five senses, and growth through hands-on, play-based exploration. The program also includes art, music, movement, drama, science, cooking, and sensory play, along with running, jumping, cutting, drawing, and writing.

Little Saints Preschool uses the Getting Along Together (GAT) social-emotional learning curriculum for personal and social development. GAT lessons include strategies to focus thinking, manage behavior, build positive social relationships, understand and deal with feelings, follow rules, manage transitions, demonstrate self-control, participate in group activities, take turns, share with others, clean up after play, use words to resolve conflicts, seek help from teachers, calm down, express feelings, use kind words, use friendly voices, work it out, and apologize. The school’s mission states that teachers, parents, and scholars at La Purísima Concepción School form an environment of faith, excellence, and stewardship, with a collaborative community that sets high academic standards and seeks a balanced focus on cognitive, affective, social, professional, ethical, and spiritual aspects of education. La Purísima Concepción Catholic School is accredited by the Western Catholic Educational Association (WCEA), is proud to serve the community of Lompoc, and uses the mottos “Saints Together, Saints Forever” and “Together, Saints Forever.”
