About
Tiny Troops Soccer is a soccer program for young children. The program offers a fun and supportive introduction to movement, play, and early soccer skills through soccer activities. It is more than just a soccer class and includes friendships beyond the soccer field and confidence through play.
• Ages: 18 months–5 years old
For more than 12 years, Tiny Troops has helped military children build friendships, confidence, and a sense of belonging at duty stations across the country. The program is built for military families and open to everyone. It is the nation’s first soccer program built specifically for military families and is trusted by families across the US and Japan at nearly 50 locations, with over 200 5-star reviews. Tiny Troops Soccer has a nationwide community that moves with families, and all the programs follow identical activities during corresponding weeks, which is a helpful feature for children PCSing as it assists in a smooth transition to the new program. Join more than 25,000 military families who have chosen Tiny Troops, where 94% of parents reported improved happiness, 92% of children built friendships they would not have otherwise made, and 63% experienced less anxiety during military moves.
Parents describe their experiences with Tiny Troops Soccer in several ways. Melanie, a parent, shared that enrolling her 2-year-old was “the best decision” and that her child “will learn so much and be so loved.” Kayla, a parent, noted that Coach Ben was “exceptional” and intentional about making each child feel welcome and seen, and her daughter looks forward to going back to soccer because “Coach Ben will be there.” Rachel, a parent, reported that both of her children started shy and hesitant, and after several years in the program they knew their basic skills and were more confident with a ball, learning at their own pace with encouragement from their coach. Anne-Marie, a parent, said her 2-year-old “has absolutely loved coming to soccer every week,” and described the coach as patient, fun, extremely engaging, and greeting her son by name while supporting his growth in athleticism and skills. Valerie, a parent, shared that her family participated at multiple locations, including Camp Lejeune with Coach Haley and Langley with Coach Inessa, and described both coaches as fantastic in forming connections with the children and establishing a positive atmosphere for learning, with identical activities at each location during corresponding weeks supporting smoother transitions during PCS moves.
