Bethany School Summer Program includes field trips and a variety of hands-on experiences. The summer staff uses hands-on activities across curriculum areas and themed programs that include future-focused, career path experiences.
• Ages: 3–11 years old
• Schedule: Preschool nine-week session from June 15, 2026 through August 14, 2026; Elementary eight-week session from June 22, 2026 through August 14, 2026, with options for half-day or full-day preschool and elementary academic sessions plus afternoon day care
• Price: Preschool registration fee $250, preschool activity fee $300, preschool session cost matches the 2025–2026 school year schedule; Elementary enrollment fee $350, weekly cost $350, early bird discount $2,900 for full eight weeks if paid in full by May 1, 2026; Afternoon day care $10 per hour
Bethany School’s Summer Programs serve preschool-age children and children finishing Kindergarten through 5th Grade. Bethany School was founded in 1947 and is fully accredited by WASC (Western Association of Schools and Colleges). A number of staff members hold memberships in professional organizations and take part in regular research-based professional development courses.
Bethany School is a diverse Christ-centered community and a direct ministry of Bethany Church. The mission of Bethany School states that students and families connect in relationship with God, the church, and others, grow spiritually by understanding God’s Word, and grow academically by understanding their part in the world God created, then go from the school spiritually and academically transformed, ready to impact the world for Him. The school describes its approach as future focused education that prepares and empowers students to believe in Christ, achieve academic excellence, and succeed in knowing their purpose in life. The school maintains a friendly working relationship with the Long Beach Unified School District and other private and public schools in the area.
