The Summer Program includes activities such as soccer, climbing, basketball, STEM projects, art, reading, and health and wellness. During the summer program, Club members can be dropped off any time after 7:30 am and must be picked up no later than 6:00 pm. Breakfast, lunch, snack, and supper are all provided.
• Ages: 6–18 years old
• Schedule: 9-week summer program with daily drop-off after 7:30 am and pick-up by 6:00 pm
• Price: $60 PER WEEK; The cost for the week will remain the same whether a child attends one day or all 5 days.
Boys & Girls Clubs of Long Beach, comprised of 11 distinct facilities across the city, has been helping underprivileged youth reach their full personal and academic potential since 1939. The mission of Boys & Girls Clubs of Long Beach is to enable all young people, especially those who need it most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. Summer field trips are proudly supported by The Port of Long Beach. Overnight summer camp opportunities will also be made available. Scholarships and sibling discounts are available, and the Clubs have a select number of scholarships that will be disbursed on a first-come-first-serve basis. Transportation to the Clubs is not provided by Boys & Girls Clubs of Long Beach. Families are asked to have income verification documents scanned and ready to upload before completing the form, including a recent pay stub or W-2 from each adult in the household and CalFresh/SNAP, WIC, CalWorks, or WTW if they receive any of this financial assistance.
