Lakewood Village Community Church Preschool offers play-based learning that includes creative arts, science, foundational math, language arts, and activities that build fine and gross motor skills. Children take part in daily prayer, Bible stories, and a monthly chapel service. The program also includes special events such as an Ice Cream Social, School Spirit Days, Halloween Festival with Trunk or Treat, Enrichment Stay Days, Friendsgiving Feast, Christmas Program, Pajama Day, Snow Day, Mommy and Me Day, Playdate with Dad, Mini Grand Prix, School Picnic, Family Fun Night, and a Graduation Ceremony.

Lakewood Village Community Church Preschool enrolls ages 2.5 to 5 years old and offers half day and partial day preschool and pre-k programs, with potty training available. The teacher-to-student ratio is 1:12, and combined, the staff has over 130 years of teaching experience. Staff members hold up to date certification in Mandated Reporter as well as CPR and First Aid. The preschool is a private Christian school licensed by the state of California and has been welcoming preschool families for over 70 years. The program’s stated mission is to provide a nurturing, purpose-driven learning environment that focuses on the development of the whole child socially, emotionally, cognitively, and physically. The preschool introduces faith through everyday experiences and interactions within the preschool and church community, and all classes participate in daily prayer, Bible stories, and a monthly chapel service. Through engagement with local schools, the preschool works to support kindergarten readiness for each student graduating from the program.

Many families have entrusted their children to Lakewood Village Community Church Preschool for over 70 years.
