The mission of Rancho Los Alamitos is to steward Rancho Los Alamitos as a welcoming public place where people of all backgrounds gather to learn, reflect, and enjoy the region's history and landscape. The Public Programs Manager is Margarete Villalobos.

Storytime on the Barn's Lawn is recommended for 2–5 years old and their caregivers. Barnyard Afternoon is $10 per person, 2 and younger free. The October date for Storytime was moved from October 20th to October 13th. The October 4 Ikebana Workshop is postponed. Forest Bathing is the last session of 2026.
