Tritone Music Academy

Tritone Music Academy offers one-on-one lessons on ukulele or guitar. It also offers after school group uke and guitar lessons, Project Rock Band, and Year Round Project Rock Band. In Project Rock Band, students are put together in bands and learn to play and perform popular rock songs on electric guitar, bass, drums, or voice.

Programs

• One-on-one lessons on ukulele or guitar — Ukulele lessons are typically for K*-3rd grade, although lessons are open to any age including adults. For 4th grade and up, guitar is recommended. · Lessons are offered as one-on-one lessons.
• After school group uke and guitar lessons — Offered at select campuses in Orange and LA counties; Fullerton SD, Irvine USD, Placentia/Yorba Linda USD, and Cerritos ABCUSD are listed.
• Project Rock Band — One week, Monday through Friday, 10am to 4pm; meets late June through August. · A summer camp where kids are put together in bands and learn to play and perform popular rock songs. Students can choose electric guitar, bass, drums, or sing.
• Year Round Project Rock Band — Twice monthly for 2 hours per practice. · Several PRB bands meet year round.

About the provider

Tritone Music Academy was founded in 2005. Mr. Kai is the founder, Mr. Tai is Director of Music Eduction, Mr. Todd is Operations Manager/Team Leader, Mr. John Michael is a Guitar & Ukulele Teacher, and Mr. Danny is a Band Coach, Guitar and Ukulele Teacher. The academy says its passion is teaching students the fundamentals of music, including how to read music notation and understand basic music theory, using the ukulele and guitar as tools.

PRB is generally for students who have been in Tritone lessons for at least a year, but they accept all experienced students. Camp duration is one week from 10am till 4pm, Monday thru Friday. There are several weeks available of the same camp experience, so students can attend more than one week. Prices for camp and Year Round tuition are TBA.
