Summer Camps introduces kids to game development and robotics as part of its hands-on activities. The program is offered alongside other options such as after school coding, after school clubs, kids game night, birthday parties based on favorite video games, and academies.
• Ages: 5–14 years old
• Schedule: Program hours are available on weekdays and Saturdays in the afternoon and early evening, with no sessions on Sundays
Swathi Bhamidipati and Vikram Vaidyanathan lead Summer Camps as owners. Swathi earned a degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Auckland University of Technology in New Zealand and is a strong advocate for STEM for girls. Vikram has over 20 years of experience in information technology, business strategy, and education, and holds an MBA from the University of Massachusetts and a Master’s in Engineering from the University of Cincinnati. The mission of the program is stated as “Empowering Kids to Code Their Future” and “Empowering the next generation of coders through fun, engaging, and educational programming experiences.” The program has been recognized as the best coding school in Orange County. Kids in the program learn to code through fun, engaging projects that range from game development to robotics, and the activities are described as fun, hands-on, and inspiring for all students. Vikram focuses on empowering kids to think creatively, strengthen problem-solving skills, and apply math and technology to real-world challenges.
