KE Camps, which operates LAGCC Day Camp, was established in 1999 and operates over 230 camps in more than 35 states with more than 12,000 campers. The program states that its small and traditional day camps are fun, structured and safe, and it describes a combination of outstanding amenities, exciting programming, and an experienced and energetic staff team. Thankful Thursday projects include Cards for A Million Thanks, a Kindness Chain for SCOPE, Club Appreciation Day, and other simple, fun and rewarding community service initiatives.

The camp is described as a traditional day camp experience in the convenient and familiar setting of a country club and is a “nut aware” camp, with lunches and snacks served by the club not containing any nuts. Guests must be sponsored and accompanied by a member and must attend on the same days as their sponsoring member, and registration for Summer 2026 opens to Club Members and Accompanied Guests of Members on February 6, 2026 at 10:00am PST and remains open only while space is available. Families must enroll in advance in order for campers to attend, and KE Camps requires all campers to wear the official camp shirt each day, dress in comfortable clothing and tennis shoes, leave electronic devices and cell phones at home, and bring specific items such as a swimsuit, towel, water bottle, sunscreen, and any optional golf or tennis equipment, with all packed food free of nuts.
