About

STEM For Others is a student-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that offers world-class supplemental courses, mentorship, and educational resources. The program uses targeted programs, accessible resources, and community-driven initiatives, with a focus on mentorship through intrapersonal student-mentor relationships.

Founded in 2023 by Marc Pashin and Ryan Kim at Bellarmine College Preparatory, STEM For Others operates with a leadership team that includes Ryan Kim (Founder / Co-President), Marc Pashin (Founder / Co-President), Oreoluwa Taiye-Akinsun (Chapter President/Recruitment Officer - Winnipeg Canada), Rodrigo Lobenwein (Software Developer), Aviva Iyerkhan (Head of Mathematics @ STEMplore), Aarush Reddy (Chapter President - Hyderabad, India), Leira Martinez Lamas (Chapter President - Austin), and Emily Shin (Chapter President - Warsaw Poland). The organization’s mission is to transform education through innovative and accessible learning solutions and to reimagine the systems of support available to students, fostering a culture of curiosity and excellence that extends far beyond the classroom. Official partners include Build UMass (Amherst, MA), Hibbard Elementary (Chicago, IL), Argonaut Elementary (Saratoga, CA), Joe Lee Johnson Elementary (Austin, TX), St John’s Ravenscourt School (Manitoba, Canada), Indus International School (Hyderabad, India), Anaheim Family YMCA (Anaheim, CA), and Chicago Public Library Albany Park (Chicago, IL).
