STEM For Others offers STEM courses that cover Python, Java, machine learning, algebra, chemistry, physics, engineering, cybersecurity, HTML/CSS, NASA science, and financial health. STEM For Others is a student-led and student-founded 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that focuses on mentorship and eliminating financial barriers to STEM education, with a particular focus on underserved students. The organization was founded in 2023 by Marc Pashin and Ryan Kim at Bellarmine College Preparatory and is described as a federally recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Its mission states that it aims to transform education through innovative and accessible learning solutions, reimagine systems of support for students, and provide supplemental courses, mentorship, and educational resources for students from many backgrounds on a global scale.

STEM For Others has school chapters across the United States, Canada, Europe, and Asia, and official partners include Build UMass in Amherst, Hibbard Elementary in Chicago, Argonaut Elementary in Saratoga, Joe Lee Johnson Elementary in Austin, St John’s Ravenscourt School in Manitoba, Indus International School in Hyderabad, Anaheim Family YMCA in Anaheim, and Chicago Public Library Albany Park in Chicago.
The STEMplore e-learning platform is described as a free platform with dozens of interactive courses, including more than 20 courses built by over 150 volunteer developers. All programs, courses, webinars, and resources are completely free for students, and applications to volunteer are free and open to people who are passionate about STEM education, with volunteer roles described as fully remote-friendly.
