Angeles Academy of Music has been serving Los Angeles since 2013, and in 2020 Beha and Nathan Pangrazio teamed up to form Angeles Academy of Music, starting the first commercial location in Westwood in January 2020. The program specializes in private, one-on-one music lessons for students of all ages and skill levels and has over 100 music instructors on staff. Lessons are available for children, teens, and adults from first-time beginners to advanced students preparing for auditions, competitions, or entry into leading college music programs. The academy is open seven days a week and offers month-to-month lessons with no semester minimums or long-term contracts, and students can explore different instruments in one convenient program.

All teachers are university trained, background checked, and have years of teaching experience as well as technical proficiency in the field. Music instructors include Emmy Award-winning composer Nathan Pangrazio, a graduate of the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music with degrees in both composition and vocal performance, and Director and co-owner Beha Pangrazio, who holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a Master's degree with honors in Architecture, and a second Master's degree with honors as an MBA with a minor in Finance from Pepperdine University. The leadership team includes Directors and co-owners Beha Pangrazio and Nathan Pangrazio, Assistant Manager Tyler S, Project Manager Jess S, and Front Desk Supervisors Catherine G and Ariana.

The academy’s philosophy is to meet each student where they are by cultivating a genuine passion for music while also providing the technical foundation for long-term growth. Angeles Academy of Music has an educational partnership with Steinway & Sons, and students perform on world-class instruments through this partnership, with biannual performance opportunities at prominent Los Angeles venues. Facilities include Yamaha and Kawai pianos and iPads in every room, along with a spacious lobby offering coffee, water, and high speed internet, and free parking with 7 reserved spaces in a covered lot.

Nathan Pangrazio won an Emmy Award for his soundtrack to “Lew Wallace,” and in 2017 he received a Telly award in recognition of the same soundtrack. In 2024, Beha Pangrazio was selected to receive one of the 10 Entrepreneur awards for Women of Impact from the Chamber of Commerce and Congress.

Parent feedback includes comments such as a “FIVE STAR!!” review from Mona Namin describing professional and welcoming staff, great music teachers, and her daughter’s fast development in piano and growing interest in singing. Another parent, Eva Vieyra Osmand, notes that her 7.5-year-old son has been taking first-time piano lessons and is “having fun and learning so much,” and that the academy tailors what he learns to his interests. Sandra Duran describes Angeles Academy of Music as “the most supportive environment I have ever found for music learning,” with teachers and staff who are “really amazing and welcoming,” and mentions that the school has very high standards and a very fun environment.
