About
PlayLA Youth and Adaptive Youth Sports Program offers year-round quality sports programming for youth of all abilities. The program is part of the City of Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks and is made possible by the LA28 Olympic & Paralympic Games. Families can use a selection of featured recreation activities that allows them to register hassle free.
• Ages: 5–17 years old
A Department of Parks was included in the City's first Freeholder Charter, adopted in 1889. The Department of Recreation and Parks and its employees promote community welfare through programs and services offered at over 420 parks citywide.
