• Price: CCA helps families become financially independent by providing free and affordable early education to low income working families.

Founded in 1971 as a non-profit organization, California Children’s Academy serves over 700 children a day and operates 15 early education centers. Its mission is to work with families and the community to make sure children in its care receive a high quality early learning experience. CCA is funded through the State of California Department of Education, Early Education Support Division.

CCA is committed to working with families and the community through family support services such as referrals, access to resources, parent and community education, and opportunities for parent participation. Family eligibility for subsidized early education services is determined by income, family size, age of child, and need for service. The program states that it does not discriminate on the basis of gender, sexual orientation, race, religion, ethnicity, ancestry, national origin, color, or mental or physical disability.
