California Children's Academy was founded in 1971. It is a non-profit early education program serving low income working families. Family eligibility for subsidized early education services is determined by income, family size, age of child, and need for service. The program does not discriminate on the basis of gender, sexual orientation, race, religion, ethnicity, ancestry, national origin, color or mental or physical disability. Its mission is to work with families and the community so children in its care receive a high quality early learning experience.
