Cirque School offers circus arts training that includes trapeze, aerial arts, contortion, Pilates, and fitness training. Classes are taught by passionate circus coaches in an indoor playground that features hanging ropes, rows of trapeze bars, and colorful, flowing fabrics. Cirque School includes public adult recreational classes, kids and youth programming, and student performances as part of its circus arts training.

Cirque School’s leadership includes founder Aloysia Gavré and partner Rex Camphuis. Aloysia Gavré’s vision to offer circus arts training for both the amateur and emerging professional began in 2004, and Cirque School was officially founded in 2009. Within a year of founding, the school moved to its current location in Hollywood and now offers forty weekly classes in numerous circus disciplines at various training levels, with a curriculum that is supplemented by specialty workshops taught by industry professionals throughout the year.
Cirque School states that its goal is to celebrate each student’s unique physical journey in a safe and positive environment and that it uses training, performance, and community outreach to inspire an appreciation for circus arts in a supportive, non-competitive environment.
