About the provider

Founded in 1985, the program is a non-profit arts organization dedicated to uplifting and enriching collective humanity through the dramatic arts. Its leadership team includes John Jack Rodgers as Executive Director, Wendy Taylor-Smith as Administrative Director, Alex Aves as Director of Student Affairs/International Student Advisor, Nick Foran as Technical Director, and Carlo Figlio as International Student Advisor. It also offers public programming and community outreach, including free and low-cost performances for thousands of patrons as well as some of the city’s most under-served children, families, and senior citizens.

No previous experience is necessary. Students need not have any performance background or previous training to apply. U.S. students may take part-time courses or enroll in the two-year program. International students must attend full-time courses due to M-1 visa requirements. A tour of the facility and a chance to audit a class are offered for all applicants.
