Crescent Moon Karate offers kids martial arts, Little Ninjas, teen martial arts, and adult martial arts, with students taking part in karate lessons and karate classes. The program includes martial arts programs that cover self-defense, and it offers a Parent & Child Starter Package for families who want to begin together. The dojo trains kids, teens, adults, and families together across all age groups, with classes grouped by ages 4–6, 7–11, and 12+ so students train with peers at their level.

Crescent Moon Karate opened its doors in Los Angeles, CA in 2008 and has offered diverse martial arts programs since then. The founder and instructor, Kyoshi Robert Torres, holds a 7th DAN in Wado Ryu Karate under Shihan Rick Herbster of Rising Sun Karate, a 4th DAN in Japanese Jiu Jitsu under Sensei Scott Main of RSKA & USA Judo, a Black Belt in Okinawan Kempo, and a 1st Degree Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under Prof. Alberto Crane of Legacy BJJ. Crescent Moon Karate has been recognized with the 2013 Los Angeles Award for Best Martial Arts Program and was featured in LA Parent Magazine as Best Martial Arts Program in 2012, and it has 541+ reviews across Google and Yelp.
Families throughout Mid-City, Wilshire Park, Hancock Park, Koreatown, West Adams, and the 90019 area choose Crescent Moon Karate for their children.
