Got Game Sports was founded in Philadelphia in 2004 by Korey Kalman, popularly known as Coach K, and expanded to Los Angeles in 2010. The program describes itself as the premier Los Angeles summer camp destination for kids ages 4–14 and offers summer, winter, spring, and holiday camps, as well as after school childcare and enrichment programs directly on school sites. Got Game facilitates the physical education program for multiple Los Angeles elementary schools and provides comprehensive after school and specialty enrichment classes on many campuses. Got Game is a licensed childcare provider in California and has been an innovative, one-of-a-kind, standards-based PE provider since 2010.

Every coach and instructor goes through extensive screening and training, including first aid, CPR, weekly staff meetings, and ongoing trainings throughout the year. The program states core values of Attitude, Effort, Community (verb)™ and uses the slogan “We Speak Kid!®”. The mission statement says that Got Game believes in building confidence through competition, that the children are the future, and that at Got Game, attitude is everything, describing the program as more than just a camp and as a culture.

Parent and school testimonials describe long-term participation in camps and after school classes, mention that children can choose which activities they join, and note features such as high-energy coaches, giant bouncy water slides, field trips, and organized processes. School administrators highlight Got Game’s emphasis on student safety, its work with teachers, and its commitment to improving the program.
