The Artsy Backyard

The Artsy Backyard offers kids art classes, private 1:1 classes, summer art camp, and several group painting classes, including Young Artist Creative Class, Kids Creative Class, Pre-Teen Creative Class, and Mobile Backyard Classes. Its activities also include private events, corporate events, monthly art workshops, and camp field trips with ceramic painting, canvas or acrylic painting, mixed media, woodcrafts, and DIY art stations.

About the provider

The Artsy Backyard was created in 2018 by Ronit Rozen. Ronit Rozen holds a Masters in Education, was a school teacher for over 25 years, and studied Graphic Design at Otis College of Art and Design. Heather Clark, Natalie Pellegrini, and Elle Reck are also listed on the team. The program says it aims to provide a space for creativity and expression and welcomes artists of every age and ability level.

Children ages five and up are accepted for kids classes. Younger students (pre-K to first grade) focus on fun and fine motor skills. The studio asks for a minimum of five students in each Backyard Mobile Class and four weeks of commitment. Camp field trips are designed for groups of 10 or more campers, require advance scheduling, and are typically 90 minutes to 2 hours.
