According to the program, some of the players they have coached have received Division 1 volleyball scholarships, some are now championship coaches, and others currently work for NASA. LAVBC states that it is committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment for everyone in its community.

The mission at LAVBC is to foster an environment that nurtures strong and confident young people who feel supported in voicing their opinions and concerns to affect positive change for themselves and those around them. The program focuses on passing down lessons of movement and mastery learned from some of the world’s best coaches in volleyball and beyond, and presents competition as a fun, process-based adventure. LAVBC states that it instills in young athletes a comprehensive understanding of the sport and of the foundations of learning and mastery, with a mission of enabling players to carry their passion for learning and commitment to teamwork throughout their lives.

LAVBC lists several competitive results, including its U11-Black Competition Team going undefeated and finishing a USA Volleyball entry tournament ranked #5 in Southern California.
