The leadership team includes PUENTE CEO Jerome Greening and founder Sister Jennie Lechtenberg, and Richard J. Riordan is associated with the Richard J. Riordan Building.

PUENTE Learning Center is involved in community events such as serving as a charity partner for the L.A. 5K at Dodger Stadium, participating in the annual Boyle Heights 5K and serving as a water station, hosting a Healthcare Career Fair through its College and Career Program, and organizing Verano en Comunidad, a resource fair marking the beginning of a new school year.
