Through LPGA*USGA Girls Golf chapters, girls participate in golf alongside role models and peers.

The Player & Youth Development (PYD) program combines golf and youth development curriculums and gives juniors access to group classes, one-on-one lessons, equipment, casual and competitive on-course play, and uniforms. The Player & Youth Development program provides access to equipment and uniforms.

The mission of the SCGA Junior Golf Foundation is to develop an inclusive golf community that enables kids to thrive on and beyond the course. The SCGA Junior Golf Foundation operates all SCGA Junior programming and makes golf affordable for youth in Southern California. SCGA Junior participants are eligible for scholarships to pursue dreams of higher education regardless of whether they play golf at the next level, and Foundation Scholars frequently mentor younger juniors. The Foundation states that it inspires kids by creating a fun, engaged community, creates local golf communities that provide a safe, supportive and encouraging environment, plans to continue expanding its programming across Southern California, and believes that every kid in Southern California should have the opportunity to pursue the game and experience the positive impact that it can have. The Foundation also states that it develops youth through golf, provides access to role models, fosters gender, ethnic and socioeconomic diversity in golf, makes golf more accessible, affordable and fun, and believes in education.
