Sporting So-Cal Soccer Club was founded in 2015 by John Akopyan and Roland Nazaryan. The club’s mission is to develop confident players and outstanding individuals through the game of soccer in a positive, challenging, and professional environment where every player, regardless of experience or ability, has the opportunity to develop, compete, and reach their full potential. The club believes every child deserves quality coaching, equal opportunities to learn, and a passion for the game that lasts a lifetime. Its coaching philosophy focuses on building strong technical skills, tactical understanding, game intelligence, creativity, and confidence in every training session, and it strives to create players who can think independently, make smart decisions, and enjoy expressing themselves on the field. The organization is dedicated to developing character through teamwork, discipline, respect, leadership, and sportsmanship, and it measures success by the growth of each player as both an athlete and a person, not only by wins and championships.
