Summer Youth Camps at Otis College offers weeklong day camps where participants take part in drawing, painting, 2D animation, cartooning, graphic design, sculpture, and stop-motion animation. Courses introduce the elements and principles of art and encourage personal expression and exploration, with additional courses for young teens that provide an in-depth look at art materials and techniques and examine creative ideas through rich class discussion. Summer Youth Camps provide a custom experience with programming developed specifically for different age groups and geared to their level of experience.
• Ages: 5–14 years old
• Schedule: Five-day, weeklong programs running Monday–Friday between June 15 and July 31, 2026, with classes meeting from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. P.T.
Summer Youth Camps at Otis College invite young creatives aged 5–14 years to explore art and expression through programs taught at one of the nation's top art and design colleges. Summer Youth Camps are taught by experienced art educators who are practicing artists and designers. Otis College of Art and Design was established in 1918 as Los Angeles’ first professional school of the arts and is a national leader in art and design education.
