• Ages: 13–18 years old
The Museum of Tolerance opened in February 1993. Its mission is to challenge visitors to confront bigotry, antisemitism, and hate, and to encourage a deeper understanding of the Holocaust within both historical and contemporary contexts. The Museum of Tolerance was founded by the Simon Wiesenthal Center, a Jewish human rights organization honoring the legacy of Simon Wiesenthal. The museum is designed as an interactive space and utilizes these exhibits and media tools to engage visitors and initiate conversations about injustice and oppression.
