The Groundlings School offers classes in improv and sketch comedy. The program includes introductory one-day and workshop classes for those who are new to improv, and it is open to anyone. All summer teen classes are available at The Groundlings School.

The Groundlings School is part of The Groundlings, an improvisation and sketch comedy theatre and non-profit organization founded in 1974. The school has been a comedy training ground in Hollywood and a springboard for careers, and it is recognized as one of the leading improv training programs in the country. Classes are structured and taught by teachers who are trained in the Groundlings program, and new online classes are posted every Monday. New free Core Track auditions are posted every Tuesday at 1pm PST. The organization has been entertaining audiences for 50 years, and donations have helped fund diversity scholarships for hundreds of recipients. The leadership team includes Managing Director Michael Churven, General Manager Sam Gooley, Education Director Allain Rochel, Assistant Education Director Colin Mackey, Technical Production Manager Meghan O'Brien, Business Manager Anjee Chandra, Corporate Events staff member Hira Kaesemann, consultant Carrie Laferle Gergely, and founder Gary Austin.
