About

USC Summer Programs is a four-week college immersion program that includes group work, hands-on lab experience, field trips, guest speakers, and an encompassing final project. Outside of class, students can join ice cream socials, game nights, movies on the lawn, intramural and field games, and day trips to local attractions like beaches, theme parks, and sports events. The on-campus program offers 20+ academically engaging courses and evening residential activities created and supervised by residential advisors and program staff.

• Ages: 14–18 years old
• Schedule: Four-week sessions with classes each day from 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Learn from expert USC faculty and staff in college-level courses in a single discipline that go on a USC transcript, and earn three units of elective credit upon successful completion of a course. The program allows students to earn college credit, explore a potential major before graduating from high school, connect with USC faculty, and has an option to join the Trojan family. Pre-College online exploration courses are also available as flexible, online courses that let high school students discover academic passions, learn from USC faculty on their own time, and earn a Certificate of Completion upon successfully finishing the class.
