Each day includes about 5.5–6 hours of tennis, and there is a demo program with the latest Wilson rackets, along with a Wilson raffle and prizes for all campers. In inclement weather, tennis is supplemented with fitness and footwork drills, video tennis analysis, and mental coaching. The camp does not offer swimming and does not provide meals, and campers are expected to pack their own lunch daily. Camps are open to any and all, and there is a $25 discount for USC faculty and staff for Session I with a code available by emailing the office from a USC email.

Camp Director Brett Masi is the head men’s tennis coach at USC and is in his fifth season in that role, with an 80–22 record over his first four seasons at Troy. In 2023 he led the Trojans to their fourth-consecutive Pac-12 championship, finishing as the No. 10 ranked team in the country with a 21–8 overall record, and he has guided Texas Tech and San Diego men’s tennis teams to eight NCAA Tournament appearances, earning conference Coach of the Year honors at both schools. In 14 seasons as a head coach, he has led teams to 11 NCAA appearances, including USC’s NCAA Round of 16 run in 2021, and as a player he was a four-year letterwinner at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a 60–29 singles record, reaching No. 38 in the ITA singles rankings in 2000 and earning All-Big West first team honors as a senior. Camp Director Alison Swain is the head women’s tennis coach at USC and previously led Williams College to eight NCAA Division III team championships; through six seasons at USC she holds a 91–57 overall record and a 33–23 record in Pac-12 matches. In 2023 her team went 20–10 overall, 9–5 in conference play, and finished as the No. 24 ranked team in the country, with two ranked singles players and three ranked doubles pairings.

The Wilson Collegiate Tennis Camps state that learning is organized, fun is emphasized, and safety is prioritized. In this program, day campers are asked to bring a tennis racket, tennis shoes, sunscreen, a hat or visor, a water bottle, and signed medical and liability forms if those forms were not completed online during registration. Each camper must have a completed and signed medical form at check-in on the first day of camp, and a physical exam is not required.

Parent feedback about Wilson Collegiate Tennis Camps notes that coaching staff are described as friendly, attentive, and focused on individual feedback, and that sessions have a deliberate focus rather than unstructured play. Parents report that beginners have learned a lot and that the camp has been good exercise and time well spent, and some note that their children have asked to stay in tennis camp for the whole summer. Other parents mention that their children are tired at the end of the day, that coaches are engaging and teach skills to improve tennis, and that the camp hours work well for working parents. Several testimonials also describe positive experiences at Wilson Collegiate Tennis Camps at SMU, including training with college players, enjoying full days of tennis and games, and returning for multiple summers.
