First Flight Child Development Center at La Petite Academy

First Flight Child Development Center at La Petite Academy offers full-time care for Infants, Toddlers, Preschool, and Pre-Kindergarten students. Children take part in hands-on activities, outdoor playtime, and field trips, and families can access live streaming video of their classroom through the SproutAbout family communication app. The program also includes a full-day Summer Camp with adventures, hands-on activities, outdoor playtime, and more, as well as a Summer Camp specifically for students age three years through Kindergarten. The curriculum follows a STEM approach, where science, technology, engineering, and math are part of everything done in the classroom, and students participate in a wide variety of elective enriched programs.

First Flight Child Development Center at La Petite Academy offers a Transitional Kindergarten Plus comprehensive, full-day program for 4- and 5-year-olds with engaging experiences and personalized learning. The program uses Sprout About, a parent/teacher application that allows parents and teachers to communicate with real-time updates, and the SproutAbout family communication app includes live streaming video of classrooms. La Petite Academy is part of the Learning Care family of early childhood education centers, and Learning Care Group has 1,150+ school locations nationwide and a corporate headquarters in Novi, Michigan. The leadership team includes Director Gabby Romero and Assistant Director Nancy Medina, who holds a Bachelor's Degree in Urban Learning and is First Aid and CPR certified.
