First Flight Child Development Center at La Petite Academy

First Flight Child Development Center at La Petite Academy offers full-time care and early education for infants, toddlers, early preschool children, and pre-K children. It also offers summer camp for children ages 3 through kindergarten, enrichment programs for children ages 3 through kindergarten, and school break camps for toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children up to 12. The summer camp includes adventures, hands-on activities, and outdoor playtime.

Amanda Dimson is the director and Giovanni Balbuena is the assistant director. Amanda Dimson is certified in Child Development and First Aid/CPR. Giovanni Balbuena has a bachelor’s degree in Child Development & Family Studies and is First Aid/CPR certified. The program states that it is proud to provide a nurturing, engaging environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. It also includes a St. Jude Trike-A-Thon, where students ride, move, and learn the value of helping others while supporting families served by St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital®.

Tuition varies based on your child’s program and schedule. Child care assistance and subsidy programs may be available to eligible families. Part-time enrollment and flexible care options may be available based on your child’s program and current availability.
