About
Los Gatos-Saratoga Community Education and Recreation offers LGS Academy with basketball, cheerleading, soccer, golf, baseball, and more. It also offers arts classes, cooking classes in Culinary Arts, dance, martial arts with karate and kung fu, music and theater, preschool programs, special interest classes such as coding, chess, robotics, mathematics, and science, soccer, sports classes for almost 20 different sports, and tennis.

- Basketball — children of all age groups · A variety of basketball classes from National Academy of Athletics, Play Like a Champion, Top Flight Elite and Valley Sports.
- Culinary Arts — children of all age groups · Cooking classes with new recipes from around the world and curriculum that covers nutrition.
- Dance — children of all age groups
- Martial Arts — children of all age groups · Offers karate and kung fu for beginners, intermediate or advanced students.
- Music & Theater — infants to teens · Participants will learn the magic of theater and music, including learning to play a new instrument or writing a backyard theater play.
- Preschool Programs — Recreation, licensed preschool and parent co-op preschool programs.
- Special Interest — children of all age groups · Innovative and special interest classes including coding, chess, robotics, mathematics, and science.
- Soccer — children of all age groups · Classes from Kidz Love Soccer, World Cup Soccer, Futsal Kingz or Skyhawks for any ability.

About the provider
Los Gatos-Saratoga Community Education and Recreation was formed in 1956 by the Los Gatos-Saratoga Union High School District. Its mission is to provide fee-based public recreation programs for Los Gatos, Monte Sereno, Saratoga, and the Los Gatos mountain communities, as well as fee-based supplemental education programs and child care services for Los Gatos Union School District, Saratoga Union School District, and Los Gatos-Saratoga Union High School District.
