Los Gatos Rowing Club Youth Teams and Summer Camps offers rowing and summer rowing programs for middle and high school students. The program includes year-round recreational and competitive rowing for youth, along with summer rowing programs for middle and high school athletes at all experience levels.

Los Gatos Rowing Club has been home to rowing in the South Bay since 1979 and describes its setting as a pristine oasis within Silicon Valley. The youth teams focus on developing each athlete through skill and teamwork, providing a supportive, challenging environment, helping athletes reach their full potential, and fostering a lifelong passion for rowing. Youth team expectations include embracing teamwork, accountability, and effort while preparing to compete at the local, regional, national, and international levels, committing fully to training and practice, and respecting coaches, teammates, and equipment.
The leadership team includes President Tiffany M Spaulding, Head Coach and Junior Membership Coordinator Jaime D Velez, and Data Protection Officer Amy M Timpe. Los Gatos Rowing Club also offers a masters program for athletes ages 18 to 75+ and year-round rowing programs for adults. Graduates have been recruited and accepted at the collegiate level at schools including Colgate, Columbia University, Cornell, Dartmouth, Georgetown, Harvard, Stanford, Syracuse, UC Berkeley, UCLA, UC San Diego, University of Connecticut, University of San Diego, University of Washington, and Wisconsin.
The club lists competitive results including 2025 Head of the Charles Men’s U17 Coxed Four 1st Place with a new course record, 2025 Head of the Charles Women’s Youth Coxed Quad 2nd Place and top North American crew, and 2025 Head of the Charles Men’s Youth Coxed Quad 5th place. At 2025 Youth Nationals, results include Men’s JV4x Gold Medal, Men’s Junior Four Silver Medal, Women’s U16W8+ Bronze Medal, Women’s JV 4x Bronze Medal, Varsity Men’s 4x Gold Medal, and Varsity Women’s 4x Gold Medal. The club notes that its chatbot was generously donated by NoHold Founder and CEO Diego Ventura.
